On behalf of the 2008-2009 State FFA Officer Team, we would like to cordially invite you to join us for the 81st Annual Colorado FFA State Convention.
We are incredibly excited about convention this year, and planning is well underway. The convention will contain a keynote speaker, award recipients, and degree recepients; but that's only the beginning of what's in store for the 81st State Convention.
This year's convention is a very special year. We’re ecstatic about the pizzazz that will be incorporated into all aspects of this convention. In addition, there are several exciting issues to be decided upon by our voting delegates and we will hear retiring remarks from the 08-09 State Officers.
Not only will we have the opportunity to see the 2009-2010 State Officer Team be elected, as well as the oppotunity to meet over 1400 FFA members from around the state of Colorado!
Our theme for the year is Empower Passion; and we are going to be empowering the clear future of agriculture and remembering the milestones that we have already conquered. Lights, Music, Excitement, and Enthusiasm are going to be a big part of the convention as a whole. So get ready, pack your bags, and prepare for an amazing ride.
We can’t wait to experience the thrill of the 2008-09 State Convention with each of you and we’re looking forward to seeing you there! |

"Caution! Excellence in Progress" |
|
Made for Excellence (MFE) is the second component in the National FFA Leadership and Personal Growth Series. It is a two-day personal development conference designed primarily for high school freshman and sophomores. The overall outcome of this conference is personal growth. The personal growth occurs through building student confidence and competence. Students build confidence as they define how to live a life of excellence by building a foundation of talents, skills and will power to persevere. Students build competence as they learn content related to the subject of personal growth. The individual should leave ready to think about how to begin living a life of excellence that will set them up for a transition into the discovery of premiere leadership. |
